Project Life

I've been debating back and forth on whether or not I want to take on this project considering that I'm already a couple months behind on my scrapbooks, but the more I think about it, the more I want to jump into creating a Project Life binder for 2010.

Is it a scrapbook? Yup, but a very unique one. A photo album? Yes and no.

Project Life is an album designed to document your daily life for an entire year. It combines photos with journaling cards to create a very unique album. You can go all out and take a photo every single day or you can scale back a bit and put in as many as you can. You can add in page protectors for special documents or keepsakes. All in all, it becomes a pretty cool package.

The nice thing about Project Life is that the hard work is already done for you. The pages are already divided and ready to accept your photos and journal cards. The kit you buy has all the materials you need. It's available on Amazon right now with free shipping and I'm super-tempted. I know I scrapbook too, but this just seems like a really cool opportunity to focus more on our family life from day to day, versus the more "special occasions" I tend to scrapbook. Let's be clear - I have no intention of quitting scrapbooking! Plus, there is a whole community of fellow bloggers who are all working on it together, so there is plenty of inspiration out there.

Aw, heck. I just asked Jessica Turner if I should start Project Life even though I'd have to pick up in February and she said, "Just go for it!" I'm such a sucker for peer pressure.
Don't tell Evan. :)
