Even though I have seen it several times - including once on Broadway - I get a tingle up my spine every time I see a commercial for the upcoming production of
RENT at the Overture Center. It's one of those shows that gets under your skin and stays with you. The music is incredible and the story is timeless. I will never forget the first time I saw it and how I just sat there in awe of the spectacle in front of me.
It is so tempting for me to buy a ticket to go see this show, but I am using every ounce of willpower I have to keep myself from doing just that.
Say the mantra with me: We just can't afford it....we just can't afford it.....we just can't afford it.....we just can't afford it.....
