In case you were interested, I had a rather uneventful visit to the NP yesterday regarding my joints. Really, I only went in to the clinic and dished out the $30 because my husband would have been furious with me if I didn't. Anyway, we did the whole rundown of the joints that have been bothering me, for how long, etcetera. I got some blood drawn and they're going to run some basic tests to rule out anything obvious. In the meantime, I am being referred to a rheumatologist. Apparantly this has been going on for long enough and with enough different joints being affected to make them suspect that something's up. Now, that could be as simple as the magnesium or Vitamin D deficiency that someone mentioned earlier all the way up to worst case scenarios of rheumatoid arthritis or lupus. But let's not put the cart before the horse here. For now, I just will wait to see the specialist and wear a wrist brace when active.
Thanks again for the concern and well-wishes you have shown! I got so much great advice and encouragement already. I'm sure this won't be a big deal at all, but it's nice to know you've got people pulling for you.
