Sunday, May 23rd - Despite the 90 degree temperature, we headed over to Joe & Jess's house for a cookout/playdate. Thank God for the "Crop" feature or you'd be seeing what Fran is laughing at! (HINT: Joe was being gross.)
Monday, May 24th - Oh, my sweet Micah John. I do love you so.
Tuesday, May 25th - My sister came over to visit today and play with the boys. It took a bit of convincing and a seriously cute face to persuade her to put on the football helmet, but soon she and Isaiah were running around the basement "playing" football!
Wednesday, May 26th - Summer date night on the cheap? How about a backyard fire for two after the kids go to bed? Don't forget the S'mores! (If only the dang smoke didn't keep following me around.)
Thursday, May 27th - I won tickets to John and Tammy's Star Fest from 96.3 STAR Country, complete with backstage VIP passes! I invited Lori to go with me and we got to meet & greet nearly every artist that played the show, except Justin Moore! Sad. Here we are with The McClymonts, a trio of sisters from Australia who are way too good-looking to be fair to anyone else on the planet and were also insanely talented. They had a real She Daisy meets Dixie Chicks vibe to them. Loved their performance and I can't wait to see what they've got in store for us next!
Friday, May 28th - Oh, it's so hard to be a two year old sometimes. It's even harder to be the Mommy of a two year old at moments like this.
Saturday, May 29th - Beautiful day, boys in the pool. Gotta love these early days of summer!
