Project Life Tuesday - July Week Five

Welcome once again to Project Life Tuesday! I am taking a photo every day in 2010 and putting them together in an album to create a unique keepsake of this year for our family. Be sure to check in on what others are doing with their project over at The Mom Creative!

Sunday, July 25th - The walk on the path to the theater up the hill at American Players Theatre is just one of the wonderful things about this place.  Plant a tree or something here in my memory when I die, ok?

Monday, July 26th - We spent the whole day outside in the sun priming, painting, and repainting the shutters, front door, and the deck on our house.  The deck still needs a LOT of work, but here's how the front of the house shaped up after only a day or so of work.

Tuesday, July 27th - Evan was on a business trip in St. Louis so my dear sister drove more than 2 hours to come babysit my boys for me so I could go to work and do this:

Needless to say, it was NOT a busy night.  At least she hung out with me and watched New Moon!

Wednesday, July 28th - Here's a moment of real parenting.  Isaiah had eaten nothing for dinner.  I told him he needed to take one bite of his chicken before he would be excused from the table.  Two hours later, he was still crying at the table, but finally put the bite of chicken in his mouth after Daddy got home from his business trip and asked him to.  I was proud of myself for not caving in, but I'm not sure I'd do it the same way a second time.

Thursday, July 29th - I wish you could hear the squeals that were coming out of Micah's mouth as he tried time after time to actually catch Brian's tongue.  This game went on for a good 3 or 4 minutes and it was wildly entertaining.

Friday, July 30th - Honestly, look at the size of this child.

Saturday, July 31st - Family I love + flank steak carved fresh off a sword = One of the best meals of my life.

Enjoy your week!
