No More Streaming Snot - YAY!!

Hallelujah, praise the Lord....we are healthy again!!!  Ok, so not 100% healthy, but my whole house is back to nearly our normal selves.  Isaiah, Micah and I still have a cough that we can't seem to shake, but I can't even begin to describe the night and day difference in my kids.  It's like I have completely different children this week then I did for the past two weeks!

Micah is no longer walking around with snot constantly streaming out of his nose.  The poor boy would scream and run when I could come at him with a Kleenex, and with good reason.  His nose was literally crusted over dried snot and it had even started to bleed and scab over on one side.  I'm sure it was excruciating when I wiped his nose and the kid was just miserable.  He didn't eat, didn't sleep, and didn't do anything other than ooze snot and cry.  The only thing that would calm him down briefly was watching any of the Toy Story movies.

Isaiah was also hit with this nasty sick we had living in our house.  He would have a fever off and on, had a sick belly, diarrhea, and occasional vomiting.  He wasn't quite as miserable as his brother, but he certainly wasn't up for his normal antics.

We were out of the game for about two weeks.  No subbing for Mommy, no day care for the kiddos.  Just a lot of time hanging out at home, feeling terrible.  But we're better now!  Micah is back to being my independent, goofy, smiley little stinker and Isaiah is as crazy as ever.  I'm so happy they're feeling better.  Evan and I even got to go out on a date last night for the first time since November!  (Thanks to the in-laws and Aunt Ashley for babysitting!)

So, we're trying to get back in the swing of things now.  I've started rehearsals for the play I am co-directing and Evan just found out the dates he'll be on a business trip to China next month, so I've got a lot of crazy scheduling I need to get a handle on in the next month.  Between figuring out what I'm going to do for childcare while I'm at rehearsals over Spring Break and trying to come up with a plan for the boys while Evan is in China....it's a headache and half.

See you tomorrow for Project Life Tuesday (if I can manage to get it all done after our weekly budget meeting tonight....)
