Project Life Tuesday - May Week One

Hello and welcome to Project Life Tuesday! I am taking a photo every day in 2011 and putting them together in an album to create a unique keepsake of this year for our family.  Be sure to check in on what others are doing with their projects over at The Mom Creative!

Sunday, May 1st - Well, the show is a wrap!  After our final performance of Becoming Juliet today we all enjoyed a buffet of junk food at the cast party.  The kids started up an impromptu game of "Truth or Dare" in the driveway, which Diane and I took as our cue to leave!

Monday, May 2nd - I've shared a photo of Isaiah with his sunglasses before, but this is just to prove that the obsession has only escalated.  Now he's taken over his brother's sunglasses too.  What a goofy boy.

Tuesday, May 3rd - Evan inherited a rider lawn mower after his uncle passed and he got to use it for the first time today.  He's pretty psyched to be able to get the lawn done in record time.  However, Micah was less than impressed that he didn't get to go outside and join Daddy on his adventures.

Wednesday, May 4th - We tried to get a new belly photo, but my hair looked awful.  Instead, Evan snapped a great close up of Isaiah giving his new baby brother a kiss!

Thursday, May 5th - For some reason, the boys were really enjoying ripping up my flowers and examining the stem together.  At least they were getting along.

Friday, May 6th - I can't help but laugh when Micah gets himself in a situation like this and starts to yell, "Stuck! Stuck!"

Saturday, May 7th - My neighbor invited me to go out to see a movie tonight, so I stayed out waaaayyyyy too late past my bedtime to see "Water for Elephants" with some really great girlfriends.  Even having read and enjoyed the book, I thought the movie did a pretty good job!  (I'm still Team Jacob, Rob.  Sorry.)  Please forgive the dark phone photo.

I hope you had a wonderful week!

On a side note, I want to let you all in on a little Project Life secret.  I do not manage to get a photo taken every single day of every single week.  In fact, this week was really bad in that department!  My dirty little secret is that I had to "fudge" four of these photos!  What I mean by that is that I might get two photos on one day, but use one of them to represent a day I missed.  It doesn't make much of a difference in the big scheme of things and I still end up with a fairly accurate representaion of my week.  It's ok if it's not perfect!  Heck, the whole point of this is to show real life anyway, right?
