Project Life Tuesday - October Week One

Hello and welcome to Project Life Tuesday! I am taking a photo every day in 2011 and putting them together in an album to create a unique keepsake of this year for our family.  Be sure to check in on what others are doing with their projects over at The Mom Creative!

Sunday, October 2nd - I brought Isaiah to the theater to see The Lion King in 3D.  He didn't really get the concept of the glasses at first, but it was absolutely hilarious to watch him try to reach out and grab things once the movie started.

Monday, October 3rd - Thomas is having more and more awake time every day.  He loves to really look at you and study your face.

Tuesday, October 4th - It was an absolutely gorgeous fall day, so I brought the boys to the park after their naps.  The big slide has always been Isaiah's favorite.

Wednesday, October 5th - We met up with our former babysitter and her kids for a little fall fun at Peck's Market, a local joint with lots of pumpkins, produce, fall activities, and even a petting zoo.  Micah liked the little haunted houses, but both of them really enjoyed feeding corn to the goats and deer.

Thursday, October 6th - What is it about a sleeping baby that is just so precious?  I love it.  I could just stare at him sleeping for hours.

Friday, October 7th - I brought the boys up to Ski Hi apple orchard between Sauk City and Baraboo.  Although the fall colors were breathtaking and the boys enjoyed their carmel apple treats, I was a little disappointed in what the little excursion had to offer.  We also picked up some apple cider and a bag of Cortlands before we headed home for lunch.

Saturday, October 8th - My sister-in-law picked up Isaiah today for her "Nephew Weekend" with Isaiah.  They went to the zoo and he got his face painted like a tiger, wore his Auntie's shades, and even got to lounge on the couch for a movie marathon.  I hear he drank his weight in juice boxes.  Even the sleepover portion of his visit went fine; he "camped" on the couch in his Toy Story sleeping bag.  I'm sure he can't wait to do it again!

Enjoy your week!
