The View from Above

I love this view.

Just allow me this moment to really give myself an enormous pat on the back because I am still nursing this child.  Those of you who know me well are fully award that breastfeeding is so not my thing and I have really disliked it with my first two children.

This one is different, folks.  I don't know if it's because he's my baby, because he's been a proficient nurser from the get-go, or if it's that while he's nursing seems to be some of the only one-on-one time I get with him, but I am (dare I say it?) actually enjoying breastfeeding Thomas.

With Micah I had to quit nursing before he hit two months old simply because I couldn't keep up with him and he was lazy on the job.  I made it to about three and a half months with Isaiah.  I would be thrilled if I could keep it up that long with Thomas.

But what's not to love about that view?  I still wish I didn't have to whip my boob out all the time, but I guess we can't win 'em all.  I still say this accomplishment earns me the right to a belt celebration
