Bringing Sexy Back

Ok, this is going to be a big embarrassing, but let's talk about it anyway.  It is the New Year, after all, which seems to me is the perfect time to discuss self-improvement.

I'm overweight.  According to my BMI, I am obese.  Obese.  I don't even like looking at that word because even the word looks and sounds gross.  I am obese.  Yikes.  When did this happen?  Wasn't I just blogging about how I had dropped a chunk of weight and was feeling so good about myself? 

I remember now.  This happened:

No doubt it was worth it to gain back all the weight I lost to welcome that sweet boy into the world, but oh do I have my work cut out for me now.  

So, here's my big announcement for 2012.  

I am getting my sexy back, baby.  

As of 11:35 pm on New Years Eve, I am a member of Weight Watchers Online.  I track my points every day and am starting to work on integrating more activity into my daily life.  And you know what?  In my first week, I have lost 8.8 pounds!

So thrilled!  I can't wait to go from this:

August 31, 2011.  Thomas's delivery day!

To this:

Weighing in on January 5th - 5 pounds lost in 5 days!

And back to this:

March 2010 - With a 6 month Micah, down about 30 pounds!

And maybe, just maybe......down to something like this:

My Wedding Day - July 3, 2004

Yup, I'm excited.  And the very best part of this whole thing???
