If you're taking on Project Life this year, good for you! I am so happy I decided to accept the challenge back in 2010! Welcome aboard and be sure to enjoy. This isn't meant to be stressful. It's a wonderful way to simplify scrapbooking and memory keeping. If you're looking for inspiration on what others are doing with their Project Life, you can check out my board on Pinterest and be sure to link up on The Mom Creative!
I ended up with a pretty straight forward approach to this week's layout, just photos and journaling without a whole lot of fluff or additional inserts. That's what is so great about Project Life - simplicity.
This was the first week of Evan being on his business trip in China, so things were pretty calm here on the home front.
Left side:
I know I've had a lot of cute photos of Isaiah and Thomas lately, but I just can't help it. They're just so dang cute together! Also on this side is a photo of my first thredUp box (which was absolutely amazing), Thomas' monthly photo, and the receipt from our trip to the library on Tuesday.
Right side:
Some really fun photos on this side! I included the first photo Evan sent me from China, a collage of the boys just being crazy and a 3x4 of Isaiah dancing, Micah talking on the phone to Daddy, and the Bigs with their darling Grandma.
Next week should be real interesting since I'll have more photos from China to share!
A few highlights:
Funny story about this photo of meat. Evan says this display was hanging outside a restaurant in Shanghai....in 55 degree weather. Nothing like a split pig's head being displayed in warm weather to make you say, "Yes! I want to eat here!!" Gross.
Thanks so much for stopping in for Project Life Tuesday this week. Hope to see you again next week!
