Project Life Tuesday - Week 13

The Mom Creative
Hello and welcome to Project Life Tuesday! This is my third year of doing Project Life and I have found it to be so beneficial to have this post planned every Tuesday because then I have a standing deadline to get my photos done!  I'm doing things a little different this year and instead of the Photo a Day approach I've done for the last 2 years, I am approaching this year on more of a Layout Per Week basis.  This means that some weeks might have more photos than others, some weeks will be missing days, but the goal remains the same: To provide a glimpse of our life and preserve it.  This isn't meant to be stressful.  It's a wonderful way to simplify scrapbooking and memory keeping.

If you're looking for inspiration on what others are doing with their Project Life, you can check out my board on Pinterest and be sure to link up on The Mom Creative!

Kind of an off week for me, so bear with me!  I didn't really bust out any fancy tricks apart from using the screen shot for Micah's video.

I used a Cathy Z template for Sunday's photo and the photo of the shake from Cold Stone.

My original plan was to wait until I could go with my husband to see The Hunger Games, but he quickly reminded me that it wouldn't be any time soon that we'd get to pull that one off!  When I was invited at the last minute to see it with my neighbors, he encouraged me to just go.  I thought they did a pretty good job adapting the book for the screen without it being overly bloody or violent.

Another Cathy Z template for the "Breakfast Bowl" insert. I love how the Ali Edwards brush "Hello My Love" makes this photo of Thomas so special.  I love that boy!

For Buzz Lightyear's injury, I used a strip of washi tape and a date sticker from 7 Gypsies.  I took a video of Micah telling me all about how he's just "too busy" to start learning to go pee on the potty, so I captured the screen shot, added the QR code for the video, and printed it as a photo.

My week ended with a pretty big moment in my life - my first tattoo!  I love how the sticker from Jillybean Soup was just perfect for this little adventure!

Have a wonderful week!  Linking up at The Mom Creative for a multitude of inspiration!
