Welcome to Project Life Tuesday!Happy New Year to you and a big welcome to any Project Life newbies out there who are taking this plunge and trying this system of scrapbooking out. You will not regret it....it is AMAZING.
In case you're wondering why I'm posting a Week 38 post on the first of January, I will confess that I fell behind in 2012. I have completed my book into the first week of November, but I'm still working on photo editing and planning out my pages for the rest of the year. I also still need to photograph several weeks worth of layouts to share with you here, but here's the cool thing......I'm ok with that.
I'm moving forward and will be continuing to document our memories in 2013, but I am totally at peace with still working on 2012's book! That's what is so incredible about Project Life. The stress is eased exponentially!

Here is my 2012 Week 38:
I got to use a Design E this week, which is an insert I don't use very often, but I ended up really liking! I will definitely be using it more going forward.
The left page is pretty simple: Cute photos of the kids, journaling cards, and some Thickers. For the bottom right card, I used some cardstock from the Clementine collection and some washi tape before mounting my Instagram photos.
The Design E page is set up with four square pockets which worked out perfectly for me to include the bulletin from our first time attending our new church here in our new city. To keep that theme coherent, I used photos from the week pertaining to my faith walk on this first side. I cropped my Instagrams to 5x5 and mounted them on double-sided cardstock from the Clementine collection.

The right page features my oldest son's impression of a chipmunk, my bubble covered cuties, and a visit from Grandma!
I even ventured off a bit into the world of digital scrapbooking for the card in the lower right corner. I still have no clue what I'm doing, but I faked it pretty well for the purposes of that card, at least.
And there we go!
I try to do a post on Project Life every Tuesday around here and I keep it pretty real about how caught up (or behind) I am! As you can see, I tend to create a simple Project Life book without any fancy techniques or extravagant fluff.
But who knows, that might change when that beautiful Seafoam Edition lands in my hot little hands!
