Welcome to Project Life Tuesday!Happy New Year to you and a big welcome to any Project Life newbies out there who are taking this plunge and trying this system of scrapbooking out. You will not regret it....it is AMAZING.
Still working on catching up on my 2012 album while simultaneously recording our memories for the launch of 2013. So excited to start with the Seafoam Edition!
If you're looking for inspiration on what others are doing with their Project Life, you can check out my board on Pinterest and be sure to link up on The Mom Creative!
And away we go with Week 40 of 2012:
Just keeping it simple and getting 'er done!
I used a lot of Instagrams this week and a couple Cathy Z templates to include them all.

A Cathy Z Tiny Template worked perfectly for my Frumpy Mommy card!

Ok! You've got me started, just starting my Project Life 2013 photo book on Shutterfly!
ReplyDeleteOh yay! You'll love it!
DeleteI'm tempted to buy the digi kit to make the pages in photoshop still. I can make all the pages in a photobook on shutterfly, but then I can't upload the jpeg file of each page or anything. I'm making a book of 2013 for me, but instead of ordering the kids a book of each year I'd like to combine at least 3 years per book for their 8x8 copies, which means I will have to do it all twice in shutterfly. Shutterfly also only has the turqoise and clementine editions.
DeleteSuch a pretty spread! I'm not a religious person, but I LOVE the quote/bible verse card. Very pretty, and such a great way to include important phrases/verses/quotes.
ReplyDeleteI chuckled a bit at the "bye bye frumpy mommy" title on your 3x4 card because, ohmygosh rebuilding my wardrobe and self-esteem is TOTALLY on my list of goals for this year! I haven't peeked very deep into your blog yet, but from the sounds of it you've accomplished a great goal of yours so for that: CONGRATS! :)
Thanks Kelsey! Yes, I lost about 75 pounds in 2012 and my hubby lost about 80. It was a big (or rather....less!) year for us and I've been having fun learning how to dress a whole new shape. Having a waist opens up a whole new world of possibilities. Check out the ebook "The No Brainer Wardrobe." I found it very helpful
DeleteWow congrats on your weight loss - that is amazing!! You look great. I love how bright and fun your layout is :)
ReplyDeleteGreat layout! LOVE your new clothes and congrats on your weight loss!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
DeleteSo many things...Oh my word, your kids are hilarious! (as is their mama)...I hope you are able to finish up 2012 and focus on January! Really hoping to stay on top of PL this year and not have to bust out 8-10 weeks at a time. GRRR...Then maybe I will actually be able to browse the link-ups and see what everyone is up to. Great job lady.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, my kids are a hoot. There are times when I don't realize they are hilarious until much later because at the time all I feel is the frustration. As for staying on top of things, I really didn't start to fall behind until we moved to the new house, so I'm hoping that I will be able to do better with it this year considering I won't have that huge life event there to derail me. Keeping it simple really helps, don't you think? I'm always in awe of your gorgeous layouts!
DeleteAnd I'm serious about getting together when I come to GR. The wedding is October 12. Put it on your calendar, Twinsie!
