Project Life Tuesday - Week 2

The Mom CreativeWelcome to Project Life Tuesday!

Just so we're clear here, folks...I am not a "fancy scrapbooker."  There are so many people out there doing some very impressive things with their Project Life albums that involve a combination of digital skills, pretty embellishments, and other fancy-pants techniques.  I'm not one of those.  I keep it pretty simple so that I know I can keep up and avoid becoming overwhelmed.  To me, it's more important to keep the memories than it is to make them look like they came out of a magazine.

I do like to have fun with it though.  :)

If you're looking for inspiration on what others are doing with their Project Life, you can check out my board on Pinterest and be sure to link up on The Mom Creative!

Week 2

The colors in this kit are certainly a new adventure for me, but I am slowly figuring out how to make my stuff work with it.

I used a 4x6 journaling card for this top spot and added some letter stickers and washi tape for a little punch of color.

On the right hand page, I used a lot of Instagrams and also a Cathy Z collage template.

How fun is that screen shot?

Just real life being documented here, folks!  Have a wonderful week!

  1. How fun to write in the snow. I'll have to remember to do that the next time we go.

    1. It was actually a gift the boys got for their birthday, purchased from Target (I believe). It was a set of three bottles with some colored dust in it that you mixed with warm water and then used the bottled to squirt the color. I'm sure the same could be done with plain old food coloring, so I saved the bottles to use again. Beware of staining!

    1. I get a good chuckle out of it now, to be sure! At the time, I really didn't find it all that funny!! That boy frustrates the heck out of me, but he's so flippin' cute that I can put up with it. :)

    1. Flattered! Thank you! It's so weird to hear it called my "style" because I guess I have a hard time wrapping my head around it. I just try to keep it simple, you know? So glad you find it helpful though! I hope to keep it up!
