Project Life Tuesday - Thomas' Baby Book (Part 4)

The Mom Creative

Welcome to Project Life Tuesday!

Are you ready for another installment of Baby Book cuteness??

This baby is now a full blown toddler, but that's why I'm glad Project Life has come to the rescue!  I went a totally different route for this project and I bought the DIGITAL version of the Baby Edition for Him when it was on sale for 25% off when it was first released.  Because I went this route, I have been able to tinker around with it here and there as I have found time.  It's been nice to be able to work on my album without having to bust out my huge storage tote full of Project Life supplies and clutter up the kitchen table with my gear.  All I need is my computer and a planning sheet!

If you're looking for inspiration on what others are doing with their Project Life, you can check out my board on Pinterest and be sure to link up on The Mom Creative!

Did you catch PART ONEPART TWO, and PART THREE of Thomas' baby book?

We are picking up at Christmas in 2011 and continuing into the first month or so of 2012.

I used one of the 4x6 title cards to create the "Merry Christmas" label.  One of my favorite parts is that close up photo of Thomas' personalized ornament from Lisa Leonard.  It's so flippin' cute!

I realize I'm going a little photo heavy in this album but this digital approach is really allowing me to include as many or as few photos as I want.  I am choosing to err on the side of excess in this case.

Well, that almost completes Thomas' sixth month of life.  I still have a LOT more left to photograph and share with you all, but I'm not sure how much more of this book you care to stomach.  Can you give me a little feedback?

Would you like me to keep sharing nearly every page of this album complete with close-ups of certain elements or should I start to scale back a bit, only shooting a few highlights here and there to share on PL Tuesday?

I welcome your input!

  1. I am also the doing the digital baby boy album for my now 15 month old little guy! I really appreciate you posting your Project Life pages, including the baby boy album. It allows me to get more ideas for how I want to do mine. I like that you include close up shots too. It allows me to get an idea of some of the little moments that you are choosing to document in your album, and then I can see if I am remembering to document all those same little moments in mine (when they apply of course)!

  2. I LOVE it! I'm planning to do a Project Life Baby book for #3 :) I can't wait to order my kit, since I'm NOT going to do mine completely digi! Now I just have to wait to find out which kit I want boy/girl/neutral.

  3. I love seeing Thomas's baby album! I'm working on PL baby albums for my boys (now ages 5 and 2), and I love the inspiration and ideas I get from seeing your pages. I'd love to see more!

  4. Don't stop posting! I love to see what you've done. My son is 14 and I would love to go back and do this. I've got my kit...just need to get started!

  5. It's really coming together nicely. I enjoy seeing your progress. Helps keep me motivated. I did get my youngest son's 1st page done over spring break but that was it! The hardest part has been retrieving the digital files off cds--took way longer than expected.

  6. I love the way that y every you post.. do not change.. I wait every week for the post, LOVE IT!!

  7. Message received loud and clear everyone! I'll do my best to keep it up!

Talk to me, Goose.
