Crap! I still have to write my What I Wore Wednesday Post!
So, clad only in my sleepshirt and undies, I plodded back to the table to retrieve the laptop and got to work. Don't worry. I spared you a photo of my sleep ensemble. You're welcome.
Jacket - Target, Tank top - Old Navy, Jeans - Plato's Closet
In the spirit of keeping it real, let's start off with this outfit. This was a "I just finished taking a shower and actually doing my hair but I still want to be comfy since I'm just having a normal no fancy schmancy day" outfit. I threw on my comfy jeans and a white tank top for hanging around the house and when it was time to venture out the front door, I tossed on my trusty brown pseudo-bomber jacket. Done.
Jacket and Jeans - same as above, Coral striped top - LOFT, Scarf - Target
Here's something very similar, but a bit more spiffed up. Same jeans, jacket and shoes, but I swapped out for a pretty coral top and followed my tried and true formula of adding a bright colored scarf. Maybe if it ever stops snowing, I'll get to wear some accessory other than scarves.
Polka dot ankle jeans - Target, Striped sweater - Old Navy, Shoes - Payless?, Headband - Gussy Sews
Holy spumoni, a spring outfit! No, you are not seeing things. It ventured dang near 50 degrees this day and I had just picked up these fun little numbers on a solo shopping trip a couple days earlier, so I went for it. Stripes and polka dots in the same outfit, yes ma'am. And then I topped it off with a purple floral headband just to prove I am insane.
Hudson Jeans - Macy's, Bird print top - Francesca's
Ugh. You guys/gals/whatever. I really, REALLY wanted to hate this top. Remember that solo shopping trip I mentioned up there? Yeah, so I was already in the mall to use my Old Navy coupon and I had about 20 minutes left to spare before I had to leave for work so I popped into Francesca's thinking I would peruse the jewelry for a few minutes and then leave. But then I saw the birds. And they started to sing to me, "Sarah! Try us on! So pretty!" I hoped the shirt would look horrible, but it didn't. The length was just right and it fit me perfectly. Sigh. So now I have a bird shirt.
I promise to never write a WIWW post at 1:00 am ever again.
Linking up once again over at The Pleated Poppy for some amazing fashion inspiration!
