Welcome to Project Life Tuesday! Every week I share photos of a layout I've been working on, either in my family's weekly book or my son's baby book. I started using the Project Life system in 2010, so this will be my fourth full year!
I am not a "fancy scrapbooker." There are so many people out there doing some very impressive things with their Project Life albums that involve a combination of digital skills, pretty embellishments, and other fancy-pants techniques. I'm not one of those. I keep it pretty simple so that I know I can keep up and avoid becoming overwhelmed. To me, it's more important to keep the memories than it is to make them look like they came out of a magazine. I'm totally fine with it if my layouts feature more iPhone photos than DSLR shots and Instagram is my friend.
I do like to have fun with it though. :)

If I remember correctly, this is the first time I have utilized the new feature of having the date card set up in a vertical orientation. Usually I try to keep a Design A on both sides for uniformity, but this week it just worked out to do it this way. The end result actually turned out pretty nice!
All the journal and filler cards are from the Jade kit this week! (except for the one digital card from the Honey kit, that is. So basically, I'm a big fat liar.)

I'm noticing that there really isn't a consistent rhyme or reason to how I set up my albums. Sometimes I do a lot of handwritten journaling on the kit cards and there are some weeks where there is none and I just let the photos tell the story.
