Give Me Four Minutes of Quiet and I Give You a Blog Post

Oh, I'm sorry.  Were you trying to access the Panda Cam, but ended up here instead because the federal government is too busy fighting like toddlers?  Welcome, friend.  Glad you're here.

For the record, I've been having a lot of fun cracking jokes on Twitter about the whole shutdown thing.  I find it hard to believe that Ben Affleck hasn't responded to the official Washington DC Bat-signal yet.  Clearly, he sucks at this job.

Anyway, if you popped in today hoping for a "What I Wore Wednesday" post, I'm sorry to disappoint you.  I've been wearing a lot of dirty jeans, Packers t-shirts, and yoga pants.  I throw myself together a bit on Wednesdays when I need to go to church for my Bible study group or my mom group, but I admitted to my group this morning that I forgot to brush my teeth before I left the house and the leader of the iMoms ministry serious considered moving to another seat far, far away from my stinky mouth.  To sum cutsey outfit posts today.

Instead, I give you.....

....a preview of my new favorite top a la Stitch Fix paired with my new Lisa Leonard bracelet (a birthday gift to myself.  I have such good taste) and a very reasonably priced cold beer poured by the good folks at Lakefront Brewery in Milwaukee.  I surprised the hubby with a short date night on Sunday night and I played right into his wheelhouse by taking him for a brewery tour!

Best. Wife. Ever.

(Or at least for that afternoon.)

Four Minutes Later,

  1. Hi Sarah! I found your blog from the "stitch fix" reviews. I scheduled my first fix for the end of October, and I'm so excited about it. Also, I noticed that you are a Packers fan! I am from Kentucky, and one of my favorite players ever, Randall Cobb, plays for the Packers. Anyway, I have loved looking through all of the stitch fix reviews. I can't wait to get my box.

    1. Hi Jessica! Welcome and I hope your first Stitch Fix box is awesome! Remember, they usually get better and better as your stylist gets to know you more. ;)

I am a die hard Packers fan to the core. Love Randall Cobb!! I loved the play the Pack ran last week against the Lions when he was lined up in the backfield and smoked by everyone on the sideline! Fantastic. :)

    2. I never watched the Packers until Cobb went there, but I enjoy watching them! I feel like Cobb is getting better every year, and I can't wait to watch him grow into a star! We don't have any pro teams into Kentucky so I have to watch the teams with Kentucky players, which is now the Packers and Broncos. I like how that worked out! Tim Masthay is also a Kentucky boy. :)

I have a friend who raves about stitch fix. I specifically requested items for winter so I hope I get something I love. I think it's so fun to have someone pick out clothes specifically for you!

Talk to me, Goose.
