Welcome to Project Life Tuesday! Every week I share photos of a layout I've been working on, either in my family's weekly book or my son's baby book. I started using the Project Life system in 2010, so this will be my fourth full year! I used to be a very traditional scrapbooker who would spend hours on a single layout to document one or two photos. Thanks to Project Life, I have become much more practical and I'm able to record a multitude more memories.

I knew this would be a big week to cover because it was a VERY busy week in our life. It was the week we went to a Brewers game, I wrote a blog post and it went viral. Suddenly I was doing radio interviews, TV interviews, web interviews, and moderating hundreds of comments on the blog. It was CRAZY.
I didn't want to overwhelm this week's layout with the events, but it was definitely a big deal. I tried to keep most of the stuff about the Brewers game to the left side and left the right page open for other stuff that happened that week....which we will get to in a minute!
I grabbed a square crop of the infamous photo that showed up on thousands of FB news feeds to put on the title card and used an arrow brush to give it a little pop. I created a 6x12 insert of the original blog post which I plan to include between these two pages.
For the 3x4 spots, I used a combination of photos from the day and screen shots of the news stories from my iPad. The card on the bottom right corner has a QR code that links right to the news story starring my sweet Isaiah!
The right page finishes up the little details from the Brewers story, but is mostly about the birth of darling little Gabbie. Our good friends had their first baby this week and we were blessed to get to visit her in the hospital. I just loved using this digital method to include so many photos of Gabbie and to remember the story of how she entered the world.
More digital Project Life to come very soon, everyone. Have a wonderful day!
