Hibernation

Micah is working on a puzzle of Disney supervillians.

Isaiah is doing math homework on the iPad.

Thomas is sleeping.

Evan is in the kitchen preparing beef stew for supper.

As for me, I am sitting in the living room watching the last few minutes of an AFC playoff game while I anxiously await the Wild Care match-up between my Packers and the 49ers.  I have also been staring at a blinking cursor on a white screen for the last 20 minutes because I feel like someone snuck up on me in my sleep and drained every single ounce of creativity out of my body like some kind of weird metaphoric organ theft.

I haven't scrapbooked in months.  Obviously the blog has been quiet.

The intentions are there, but I just can't seem to make it HAPPEN.  Somehow I am just not finding the inspiration to write or create, and I can't even understand or explain why.

I'm blaming the cold.

Speaking of the cold, GO PACK GO.

  1. I'm right there with ya....but I always have this post-holiday funk. Dang those fortywhiners. Although, I'm a SeaHawk fan. And can I just say we are whining here in Seattle, where it's going down into the 20s tonight? Hang in there, your spark will come back!

    1. It's terrible. They've already cancelled school tomorrow because of the temperatures predicted to be at historic lows. I'm kind of hoping they call me off work tomorrow night, but we'll see.

And I was so sad the Pack lost. *Sigh*

I do like to see Wilson doing so well as a Seahawk though, as long as they aren't playing the Packers. Gotta support my Badgers whenever possible! :)

  2. So sad the Packers lost! :( I hate that I won't get to see Randall Cobb until next September especially since we just got him back. Now I'm cheering for the Broncos because I love Manning and there are three UK players on that team and the Saints, my dad's team. I don't expect the Saints to make it past the Seahawks, though.

  3. I hear ya on the motivation thing. I have wanted to scrapbook a lot, but when I actually get time, I spend it doing something else, or just watching a movie.... What's up with that?!

  4. i like to blame the dang Dooooooluthian (or Duluth as some call it) weather for how cold it is here, which is probably not as cold as it is there

And even though I am not a Packer fan, that is a great picture. Gotta respect Lambeau
